Absence makes the heart grow stronger

It has been awhile since I posted something. Summer was busy and eventful. Andrew and Ryan's dad got remarried at the end of June, Howard/Rose Reunion in July( my whole family all of us kids and my mom) and a few of the Roses got together In Monroe, UT. We had fun and Andrew and Ryan liked it and clicked with Kevin's daughter Kylee. IT was so good to see them!! Andrew started preschool at an actual preschool. It has helped him socially already and he has only had a week of it so far. Now to get Ryan to go poo in the toilet......

I asked my friend from the single's ward if she would take our family photos this month. The one picture I've seen so far is so good. It is one of Ryan. I get the rest of them hopefully on Wednesday. She said that she has so many good ones and that she isn't going to do alot of editing, maybe put a few in black and white but not much else. They are so good! I'm excited!!! When I have all of them, I will post a few of them.

I have been called by the Stake Presidency to tudor one to two students at the local elementary school in reading. The training is this Wednesday. I think this is interesting that they would call me to do this because when I was a kid and even sometimes now, I struggle with it and have a hard time comprehending what I read because I have to focus so hard. I have some kind of reading or learning disibility that was never diagnosed. I have a hard time reading and focusing on what I read in certain light. Growing up, my mom would ask me to turn on more lights when she would help me with homework and I would say that I saw it better in the dark with only a lamp. I think they called me because I can relate to these kids and can be patient and understanding with them. Help them feel that they are worth the time and effort to be there for them. We shall see what happens with this. It is for the whole school year so I pray that I can do it for the whole time.

For those of you who might be wondering, no I haven't been on a single date yet. It's pretty lame when I have a free weekend with no children and I'm spending it with my mom. Oh well, it will happen when it happens I guess....
