Dec. 14th My Ivory homes gingerbread house. Not complete but almost. Just had to do final touches on it. Hopfully they will except it because when I went to register, it kept rejecting my entry due to the size of my pictures. Tried sending an email and delivery failed. Going to call first thing in the morning. Registration was due by the end of the day Dec. 14th. Will be a bummer if it isn't excepted. This thing gave me stress and troubles( so did Ryan when I found him eating from a wall of it. Not a happy camper). Next is SENDING CHRISTMAS CARDS..........

Yesterday the sun came out so we decided to rake up the leaves and jump in the piles and take some pictures.

Freeze!

One day this past week, we were about to go outside to play on the playset when the rain came down and the winds blew. So I got creative and decided to do a freeze dance with the boys. I only got Ryan on here because I didn't have my camra handy when Andrew was dancing too. They had fun. Mommy even danced as you can tell from the video.

General Conference weekend. We invited neighbors over for Saturday's session. The kids had fun playing with all the toys during

On a very cold Saturday morning, 6 crazy sisters from the Ward ran in the Love your body Women's 6k at Thanksgiving Point in temp.s in the 40's/50's. Standings.......569th over all out of 1067, 115th in my age group............time: 49:32.7. My goal time was set for under 50 mins. and well, I made it by 30 SECS.!! Yeehaw!!!

A tribute to a "Giant of a Man"

Today marks the 10th Anniversary of my fathers death. So when I saw an ad for a cancer 5k run/walk, I knew I wanted to do it.My mom ended up coming too.When I got to the end of the race, I felt so many emotions all at once and started to cry. Tears of joy that I finished, tears of sadness because I missed my dad, and tears of accomplishment that I was able to help someone by contributing to the event. I collected myself and grabbed a water then started to walk back the trail to find my mom and walk the rest of the way with her. when we finished, tears started flowing for my mom and we hugged for a bit. It was a neat experiance to do that race and to do it with my mom. My Sister Debra did a race in Idaho and my Sister Tamra and her family did one in Provo. My brother Alen was able to come over for a bit this evening and look through pictures from over the years, brother David did service by helping someone move, and brother Jon is in the military so he thought of my dad during PT this morning. I'm grateful that I had 16yrs on this earth with my dad and I can't wait when we will be reunited once again. I have a testimony and know that families can be together forever. I know that as we fullfil the covenents and promises we make with the Lord in the Temple that we will be a forever and eternal family. I'm grateful for a 14yr old boy who invited the missionaries to his home and later joined the church. I'm grateful that my parents were sealed in the Provo Temple and that I was born in their family. I love my family! Wouldn't ask to be reassigned to another. I have 5 great brothers and sisters and loving parents.

Mad Dash to beat Cancer 5K Sat. Sept.25th, 9am American Fork Cancer Center. Making it a tribute in memory of my Dad, James Howard. I thought that would be a nice 10yr death anniversary tribute, don't you think?. Mom's going to walk and I'm going to run. It will be 10yrs to the date.

It's Official!! OKC South Stake Reunion coming up!

Ok. I have finally been able to schedule the stake center for the reunion.

Date: Friday, Oct. 1st, 2010

Time: 5pm-9pm I have the building scheduled from 2/3pm to 10pm to have time to set up and take down everything.

Place: Silver Lake Stake Center, Eagle Mountain, UT

Will be pot luck, if you have pictures to share, would love to see them. Please RSVP so I know how many to expect. Would love to see as many as possible.

Bring out your dead

Ok so nobody died but I have felt like a zombie the last two weeks. Last week I had a sore throat, sore muscles, sinus headache. This week I haven't made it to bed before 3am because of a child wetting his bed and having to clean up situation monday night, and the other one throwing up in the middle of the night tues/wednesday,hence the title. Praying I can get to bed at least two hours sooner. That's a start right?

I enjoyed my time in PArk City. So needed it. Was up there for 4 days. Went shopping at Tanger outlet, swimming, walked, craft, soaked up some rays by the pool( even though it's hard to tell), and read. I was able to get some much needed sleep. If I had the finances to do so, I would of gotten a massage but it was $85! Sorry charlie. Not gonna do it. Here are pictures of my timeshare. I'm selling it. Asking $750 to rent for the week ( starting next year) There are three or four days left for this year that weren't used so would rent those days to you for $350. Asking $8200 to buy. How old are you?

Happy 26th Birthday to me! Yesterday, my brother David took me out and we went bowling as well as played a game of air hockey and kicked around a soccer ball. Today, I went to the Mt. Timpanogos Temple, Denny's for free birthday grand slam and my waiter flirting with me( he only looked around 20)flattered but no, and a teenager yelling "I love you" from the side of the road for whatever reason. Nice but weird day. I that's one bad reason for looking young, you get hit on by young guys when your 10 yrs older or so than they are. No Thank You, Move it Along fellas.

ouch! that hurt

Well, the verdict is in. Both external fan belts were cracked and falling apart causing the screeching sound when turned on. Either I miss-understood or was miss-informed but the fan belts were under a 12k/12 months warrenty so they ended up costing me with labor, parts, ect. $194.93. Car insurance cost me $105 to start and for the month so Monday was a very costly day for me. Yikes! I think there is a bike nazi out there because every time I save up for a bike and they go on sale, I have to use the money I saved for the bike on either a med. bill or some other exspensive thing. Then when they aren't on sale I don't have to fork out anything. It's happened now two or three times. What' s up?! Am I not suppose to have a bike for some reason?

New things

Thursday: Went to Institute for the first time in 7 1/2 years. Went by myself because the fresh out of high school guy ended up not being interested and the other didn't get back with me. However there is a new 19 yr old girl in the ward and invited her to come so we shall see if she does or not.

Saturday: Hiked Bridal vail Falls with 9 other people for the first time( don't have pictures because I left my bag with camera,etc. in my friend Troy's car. Just brought the gatorade with me, less weight to carry). Had fun even though we ended up going on the trail less traveled by and wondering if it was ever going to end. I enjoyed it plus I got to meet 7 new people. It was a beautiful view!

Monday, June 21st: getting my own car insurance, getting my van's A/C looked at to see what is causing the high pitched squeal when I turn it on. The nice thing is that the a/c is covered under warrenty unless the coolant needs to be changed. I think it's the belt or fan needing to be fixed. Will see......

Wednesday, June 23rd: call Law office again to see if the judge has signed the papers yet( if I don't hear anything from them before that ). A 5 sec. sign and your done that the judge is taking his sweet precious time on.

Religion is a part of me

This coming Thursday, I am going to start going to Institute classes! Fun and I get to associate with other people around my age. Might be carpooling with two guys from the ward. One just graduated high school and the other I don't know how old he is, maybe an RM within the last year. He's pretty quiet and shy( well they both are) so I just might have to share my bubbly personality on them to get them out of their shell. I know the feeling, I was once that shy too but I'm finally getting out of it.

Update on Ok reunion

I finally was able to get a phone number for the building coordinator. They just called a new one so I will call her to schedule building.

The papers are in!

The divorce papers are in to the judge to be signed. It's official. (sigh of relief is released)

How many?

Three days till mediation and hopefully the finalization of the divorce. I realized the other day that the limbo I'm in is not only involving where I live but with my friendships and where I am like I'm not single but I'm not together with my husband, where do I stand? It isolates me from people who are my friends, who listen without critizism but give positive encouragement when commenting, who believe in me, support me, and are sensitive to the situation. It gets lonely. So ready to be out of limboville. I get through it with my Heavenly Father with me. That has been the only way this past year. There have been good days and there have been bad days. It is nice to know that when I have those bad days, that I can turn to him for help to lift me up and to continue. " I look to you, I look to you. And when all my strengh is gone, with you I carry on, I look to you" Whitney Houston song "I look to you" ( it's on my Ipod)

Those who serve or have served= our freedom....Let's always remember and honor it

Spiritual up

I tried going to the Mt. Timpanogos Temple on Friday but found out that it was closed for maintanance so mom and I went to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple the next morning. It was our first time going there besides the openhouse. Nice morning.

Funny Ryan

Ryan was having a hard time falling asleep for nap so I put some music on while he was playing. Found him half way under the bed asleep! A little bit later right before dinner I checked on him and he was half way on his bed! No wonder he still falls off his bed at night sometimes, he moves so much in his sleep.

Camping.... sort of

We had planned on going camping on Friday but it was way too windy and raining off and on so we decided to stay home but still camp. I roasted marshmallows over the oven for smores and I built a "tent" made of couch cushions and camo blanket. Still had fun.
