If you think my children are adorable now, raise your hand................Ryan and Andrew were doing this instead of picking up crayons and school stuff. I was upstairs having a fairly important conversation with my mom.
But whether I was going to the bathroom or switching loads of laundry down in the basement, something like this or artwork of somekind would be displayed( I have to crack open the bathroom door now so I can hear what mister mischief Ryan is doing.). The other day Andrew decided he wanted to practice writing words of things. He wrote bathroom on the bathroom door, wall on wall, etc( think you get the picture) so he ended up washing it, of course, and then I gave him some pieces of paper and the tape and said here, write the words on the paper then tape them onto the object it goes to. Solved that problem. I'm sorry but 3 and 4yr age group is not an adorable age, they can be little heathens.
....But even with things like this happening, I still love them. They are still learning as am I all at the same time and life happens. It's what you do with the experience is the most important. Did you learn from it and if so what? What did you do right and what could you have done different? In this case did I learn something? yes. What? Not to leave Andrew's school bag out and leave the room. Right things? remained calm and didn't yell. Things differently? Put the bag down stairs in the basement once Andrew was done with it so to take away the temptation of getting his crayon box out and playing with the glue stick and scissors. One day we will look back at these pictures and laugh. Have a great week and hopefully not full of days like this.:)
